Thought this was kinda a funny story.

At least the PETA spokesperson didn't condone the act of stealing pets. I wonder if they let that bunny go free? You know it would probably die in the wild becaue it's a domesticated rabbit. Also, let's say it's a white rabbit. How would it blend in with it's surroundings in the woods or in an open field? Unless it's a snow covered field, it would probably get eaten by a predator.

Poor, poor Sugar Bunny. I had a bunny but it was a mess, Zemikas now lives with kids who can love him and take care of him better than I ever could. I think that was pitiful act of protest, stealing a 5 year-old's bunny rabbit. People can be heartless these days....

Glad that the teachers could use it as a learning experience for the kids. Sounds like they did a good job at that.
