There's an emmy for a reality show? I thought it was suppose to be real tv, why would it deserve an emmy for anything?

Are game shows in the running to? I'd vote Jeopardy

there's an emmy for a reality show? yes, but reality competition, not reality like the real world..

i thought it was suppose to be real tv, why would it deserve an emmy for anything? the cinematography is incredible, but i believe it's the only reality show to ever win (7 times).. "the original series has aired in the united states since 2001 and has earned eight primetime emmy awards, including all seven "outstanding reality-competition program" awards that have been given...

Are game shows in the running to? I'd vote jeopardy. yes, jeopardy has won the most, 11 times since 1990. Cash cab is the two-time defending champion, and bob barker has claimed 14 for daytime host (the most daytime emmys.... :thumbup:

Actually had no idea they had a Daytime emmys (gameshows and what not), but once you said Jeopardy! I figured to look it up and see. I guess it makes sense that there are awards for that genre. Same with soaps...
