and where to eat them (http://www.guardian.co.uk/lifeandstyle/2009/sep/13/best-foods-in-the-world?utm_source=Ode%2BNewsletters&utm_campaign=93dcdf2352-daily-rss&utm_medium=email)

From cake, steak and tapas, to oysters, chicken and burgers, Killian Fox roamed the world to find the 50 best things to eat and the best places to eat them in, with a little help from professionals like Raymond Blanc, Michel Roux, Ruth Rogers and Rose Gray

Next time I'm in Tokyo I may have to try this place out. :)

25. Best place to eat: Sushi
Daiwa sushi, Tokyo

If you want the world's best sushi, don't even think of looking anywhere but Japan. Empty your bank account and eat at one of Tokyo's swankiest sushi temples, such as the three-Michelin-star Jiro in Ginza. Alternatively, go right to the heart of the action, to the city's overwhelming Tsukiji fish market (the largest on the planet), and eat unsurpassable sushi for a fraction of the price at Daiwa Sushi. It's a fast-moving hole-in-the-wall establishment without tables and it's only open for breakfast, but none of this matters once the expertly prepared rolls come your way. Try the melt-in-the-mouth tai, a type of sea bream that is impossible to get outside Japan.

This was Sushi Dai, next to Daiwa and said by my wife to be THE best. Daiwa had a big line too but we waited from 6-8 am behind a celeb with a camera crew to eat here and it was worth every second! 3,800 yen for something that place in Ginza and/or elsewhere would likely charge a couple hundred bucks. I'm now ruined and have trouble enjoying sushi in Okinawa :( :)

And some famous Korean chick that was there with a camera crew, body guard and assistant. Line went around the building and down the street.

Edit: waited in line 2 full hrs and it was worth it!

She was really cute for an ugly lady. I've been trying to figure out who she was too. I forget the name my wife said. Nice tight body and doing stretches in line. I'd hit it.

Wife said she was a talent. I asked her what kind. She says if you say talent in Asia it means multi-talented, actor/singer basically.

Nope. I prefer hotties without bags over their heads...

Or untalented, one-dimensional wanna be famous types that nobody will care about in another 6 months to a year. :D
