most police departs have judo and kendo clubs..I started training judo in 1984, and when I arrived in Okinawa in 1991, I began searching for a judo dojo as well...never did find a public dojo (at that time) so I began training karate..that was a good move for me..still training today.:thumbup1:

you may want to check the Okinawa Budokan in Naha..it's a large very well equipped multi-level dojo that many different teachers use on a regualr basis.
