His time in jail will be testimony to the evolution of animal cruelty laws. More and more miscreants are learning about the evolution of laws that protect animals and punish louts like him. Even millionaires like Michael Vick with all their high paid fancy attorneys are being schooled on these laws.

Looks like this guy will be eating prison chow slop while his dog will most probably be confiscated, and with luck rehomed to a loving owner that will be feeding it better than the louts in prison getting their slop. Ha!

Ironic justice is enjoyable to see.

This guy better learn to pucker his bottom to keep the 'guys' out and from imposing their will on him. I wonder who will catch and who will throw if he and Vick end up sharing the same cell?

Were the dogs actually eating the kittens or just mauling and killing them? Not that it makes much of a difference, but it kind of does. If he was feeding his dogs cats, that is pretty damn disgusting. If he was training them to kill, well still disturbing, but not really on the same level as the dogs eating them.

I hope laws in general evolve to the point where people get the punishment they deserve. If this guy were convicted in my court, I would sentence him to be thrown in a cage with a few pitbulls that havent eaten in a week.

Ya this is pretty disturbing, but what's the difference between this and feeding your snake mice?

I would vote for both atb35 and Guyjin as judges in my district if they were elected positions. And if they were appointed positions and I was in power to appoint judges, I'd appoint them.

Are you basing that statement on their overall posting record, or just what you see here :D

I think in the terms of feeding snakes there's not too much synthetic snake food/ mice you can feed them. Now with tossing kittens to hungry dogs that's just wrong in my eyes. I don't think dog food is any more expensive than kittens or any less nutritious. Another sick human being that shouldn't be allowed near any animals.

Oh yeah wanted to point something out. You notice that this guy is white and not even famous?

I hope no one is trying to pin animal cruelty down to just one race or nation. There is still cock fighting on Okinawa, bull fighting in Mexico and Spain, and dog fighting up on Shikoku. No doubt others can come up with piles of other examples. IIRC there was an Irish footballer in the news not too long ago with charges similar to Vick's.

Just being cheeky with what I saw here.

Yeah. And he is not a ring leader of an interstate gambling ring bank roling crimes breaking federal felony laws.

But I still want stiff penalties for the lout.

Unfortunately people are. Take the Mike Vick case for example. Not that people are saying only a certain ethnic group are committing such offenses but more or less only a certain group are being prosecuted. I was merely pointing out that regardless of race or financial wealth this sort of thing is going to be prosecuted.

It is not unheard of for dogs that are not socialized with other animals or that are extremely bothered by specific types of other animals will often kill other animals w/o eating them.

We had neighbors one time that had chow-chows that hated cats. If one came in the yard they would catch it, flick their head to the right and then to the left very rapidly, snapping the cats neck, then they would drop the cat and not eat it.

They were fine with birds, people and other dogs, they just were bothered by cats for some reason.

I don't see an innate desire for the dogs to EAT the cats unless the owner did not feed them other wise. Which by the sounds of it, I wouldn't be surprised if he did that.

K- gotta stand up for my dog!!! They could throw him in a cage with them, doesn't mean anything would come of it.
You are reproducing stereotypical breed prejudice here. :)

The dogs would have to be trained to attack humans, in which case you have a whole other issue of idiotic human involvement.
(Also any breed could be trained this way, doesn't have to be pits)

Snakes don't have to eat live food. They'll almost without exception eat frozen baby chicks and mice which have been gassed. At least it isn't as scary as being eaten alive

You have to thaw them out first though.

Most prisoners like animals. I hope he manages to get acquainted with those that do.

And that's me, with Cleo a Boa. She had only been fed on live food, but was quite easy to swap over.

Anyway, I hope he ends up a right Bitch :D

I'd like ten minutes with him in with my dobes. They don't mind cats, but they ain't 'alf trained well.
He'd last maybe five minutes.

Pitbulls are an entirely different type of dog than most. Pits are a product of thier environment more so than any other breed I have came across. They can be the meanest, rankest dog when in the wrong hands but on the flip side be a sweet, well-mannered family dog. What you people need to do is get after the people who harm the dogs and teach them this negative behavior. I was floored when Whoppi Goldberg defended Vick by saying "dog fighting is in our hertiage." Well, slavery was in our heritage but it doesn't make it f*cking right and we are reminded of that constantly.

The bottom line is any dog in the wrong hands is a weapon and monster. But a dog is only a product of it's owner or handler. Get the monsters who beat and train these "prize fighting" dogs off the streets.

I agree with this. But one need only to look in the ads on this website to note there a whole bunch of macho muthas wanting pits. I have seen them on base, big chain for a leash, buff GI walking it with muscles fairly straining against the power of their trained killer.

Makes me want to vomit. Wankers are suffering from small penis syndrome. And before some cry baby chimes in here and asks me; "so you think all pit owners are wankers?" I can only answer with this:

"Why do you have a pit?" An answer only an owner can come up with.

Umi, it's the "heritage" that are raised in that re-affirms the sterotype of them needing a big mean dog and that it is ok to fight and mishandle animals.

Saginaw, my hometown, had a huge dog fighting ring. I mean horrendiously large to where a lot of sub-urb kids and country kids where getting into it. They would have dogs in the pound that owners fed them gun powder, yes gun powder, because it was thought to make the dogs mean. Many dogs died of poisoning because of this stupid belief. It is just sad to think any society accepts this behavior still even though fighting animals has been around since the dawn of man. It's time though to evolve and get rid of these barbaric sports. Grant it, there will always be animal abuse but we need to let the next "heritage" generation know this behavior is wrong.

You mean like this:

A guy in my shop had a pit bull and was always looking at pit bull stuff at work (he got kicked out....go figure). He also said he used to make his dog work out so it would get "buff". He got called out by the SPs for neglecting his dog a few times, but they never took it away. As far as the dog, it was a very nice dog just a tad hyper. Which I was suprised since he was a dick.

I think they should cover him with gravy and put him in a room fully of starving pitbulls!

Funny stuff, but you don't literally mean this, .......... do you? Just tongue -n- cheek stuff, right? Can you imagine the image of some dude gettin' mauled by some dogs after being rolled in a vat of gravy? Reminds me of ........ Red Dragon ......... (I think) when that guy is thrown into a pen of wild boars and is hooked up but good.

Yes, Hannibal (the movie) had the creepy man on machines that was ate by his own trained boars.
