Hello to all..

Names Don, and been on Okinawa almost 17 years. Actually worked for Japan Update back in 94-95 'ish. Thought I'd check out this forum. Looks good.

He used to handle the webdesign portion...then they fired him for some a$$ straight out of school. He's lived with a grudge all this time!

Lol, I actually replaced a webmaster who one day just up and left Okinawa. I wasn't even hired to take on this website. I was hired as a writer. It just sorta worked out this way...

I didn't get a raise when I was handed the extra duties.

That's right, dk. Just cover up that you totally wrecked some dude's life to the point that he left the country in total and utter disgrace, because he was old and couldn't hack it. Dude, you're so my hero now. :p

I can't help it! I'm a force of nature! Also, that guy was just barely older than me! He was just a html guy and I brought programming to the table! :o

I enjoyed working for JU. Straight out of the Army, it was a relaxing break. The money wasn't bad for 2 days a week. Kari's son replaced me after I trained him.

Woah, didn't know Kari's son ever worked for JU.

It is a nice place to work. This is probably the only job I've ever had where I can genuinely say "I like my job" lol.

I doubt he worked there long. He didn't seem to like the position. Think dad forced him to do it.
