And why?
For me in order of importance they would be:
phylosophy (HS)
geometry (HS)
formal reasoning (Uni)
speech(HS)
history (HS&Uni)
typing (HS)
1. Skeptical analysis of religions and belief systems. Changed my world view.
2. Liked the proofs that showed things canceling out and how symetry and angles required seeing both sides.
3. Great for debate and picking out fallacies. Helped to confirm or reject intuition.
4. Keeping poise in front of crowds while speaking (though, I still don't think I am very good at this).
5. Lots of lessons/examples to draw from.
6. Need speed. More speed is always good. Makes covering more ground all that much easier.
How about you?
War Literature (Uni)
Persuasive Writing (Uni) - Although I don't use it all that much lately
Those two are the two that stand out the most. I doubt I'd be as much of a pacifist as I am if I hadn't taken that course in war literature. Really opened my eyes. Best course I ever took, which is a lot to say about a Maryland course.
I've taken a lot of literature and composition courses. Persuasive writing by far had the biggest impact on me, but I value all of them.
And finally, I give credit to the teachers I had, not simply the course material. I had two teachers who I give absolute credit for guiding me to become who I am today. One in highschool who NEVER let me be lazy and another in college who just blew my mind in every course I had him in (composition and literature). Had a few business professors as well who taught me to think outside the box. At least one of them would be a close third.

I was always interested in biology, history, psychology, and anything computers.
Biology because I have always been interested in the way the natural things in our world work.
History because I believe the past is important and should never be forgotten (yet not dwelled upon forever either).
Psychology because the human mind is a very interesting thing. Especially how something so small (like no communication between the left and right side of your brain) could cause a huge effect on your person.
Computer courses because I just like computers.

Oh yes my typing class from HS was pretty cool. We used typewrites and mine would always take a few seconds to catch up to me once I finished typing. My buddy at work makes fun of me because I can type so fast.

Wow...I remember starting typing with computer and typewriters as early as ele. school and I was a speed demon even then. I enjoyed the classes in high school because they were so easy. I would be done with my class assignments before anyone and would just sit there and bs.
I also loved Anatomy(hs). Favorite class and also made me more interested in it as a career.
Theater Arts(hs), well, didnt do anything for me now, but loved to act and it came naturally for me. I would love to jump in to some of the plays around here.
As for college classes, Nutrition stuck out to me the most. It also pushed me towards a direction for a future career.

Two of my college courses had a real eye-opening realization while I took them. Microeconomics and Auditing. Microeconomics was profound due to the fact that I had no idea how the decision of so few could affect so many. A bad decision by the Fed Chairman for instance could trickle down to the masses causing all kinds of financial and socio-economic calamities.
My Auditing class should me how evil and unscrupulous corporations are when trying to "cook" their accounting books. Very enlightening.

I would have to say Sociology, in HS. Living in a "Third World" country, it opened my eyes alot to why people in some societies behave and act as they do. Also it fueled a HUGE religious arguement in my house between my dad and I. And I had a text book to back me up!!
