Since I have left Center Stage, lets see how the place is doing. Most of the dancers quit and are either at chichis or going back to mainland. :thumbdown: A lot of the girls that worked there are waiting for me to open up something on gate 2 street. Sherry has pissed of the exotic dance community with her crazy attitude and homicidal temper.:cursing:
So!!! lets dedicate this thread to the opinions of the masses. LET THE GAMES BEGIN!!!:cool:

iirc center stage was a strip club of sorts where during the "show times" one guy goes up on stage(rotating) and screws one of the chicks. Within the first month of living here I went there with a few of the guys. This was back in 2001 so my memory of it isn't all that great. Thank god because that place grossed me out big time.

Supprised this place is still around if its the same place I'm thinking of. Other than that place I have yet to step inside any other strip joints on Okinawa. Big waste of time. Why would I want to pay money to get into one of those places anyway. Be cheaper to fly to the PI or Thailand. Then again since I've been married I've been able to stare at a certain hot naked chick all the time.

So, basically, center stage is a strip club (and more?) and the OP is pissed off at some chick who she worked with. So, said OP writer is semi-bragging about skills and whatnot and is going to open a center stage v2 on gate 2 street because a previous stripper friend is a homicidal drama queen?

I've seen movies with worse plots. You might want to call up a producer.

Doug, I think the place you are referring to was the famous "The Stage." I don't recall the sex club you seem to be talking about with a "Center" in it. But, I could be wrong.

Anyways, why would sex show workers go to Chi Chis? Is Chichis also a sex show joint?
Ah, that's right. No, it's "the stage" not "center stage". I've never been to either, but they both sound familiar. I was just getting confused.

You see, I have stored knowledge on seedier side of Okinawa. And, IIRC, the infamous The Stage was finally shut down by police 3~5 years ago.

Damn, JU should have run a story on that seeing how famous it was within the military community.

I think they are just Latin dancers -- not strippers. That is why I imagine they have gone to Chichis. Unless... Chichis has strippers -- do they?

My husband remembers The Stage having a strip/sex show back in the early nineties. I went to the Hideaway and saw females stripping there, but that's about it. Then again, I'm not really into that. Sorry. :shrug: :o I don't understand what the original poster intended with this thread either... :confused:

Yes, Chi-Chi's is all about the strippers.

"The Stage" as it is known or Naha Music by the official name, was a live, audience participant sex show in downtown Naha about 1/2 block off of 58. It did close for awhile but I was told recently it might be back open again. But, it is off-limits too military personnel. I remember when I first got here in 86, the guys from work took me and the other newbies there our first weekend, kinda like a rites of passage welcome to the rock thing...

Well I don't know if the original poster has said anything and I think that she meant to get a talley of how many people would want a strip club on Gate 2 street. Right off of Gate 2 street there used to BC street and that place has been cleaned up. Nothing but shops from what I can see. I remember being here in 95 and that place was Little Philippines. Buy me drinky bars all over the place. A popular show to see back then was the bananna show. Everyone had to see that as right of passage. Never been to the stage, just heard about it.
Long story short! Open another strip club, go for it. We all should get free tickets. Lol... Maybe even V.I.P. treatment.

Yeah, the Stage and Center Stage are different places...at least I would think so, since the Stage has been closed for a while. We used to take guys there when they were leaving the "Rock".

Never been to "chi chi's" or even heard anything good about it. Used to go to the lesbian show up in Kin...that was kinda cool to watch!

oo ooo where exactly is this place at?????? I need a place where my chances of meeting a chik are higher when I get back from the sandbox.

I remember I went to ChiChi's once, yeah I wasn't impressed. some chick had a gut sticking out more than her boobs. plus there was I'd say 50 drunk marines to maybe 7 girls.

I even found center stage one night, went in and the place was empty. The guy was gonna let us in for half the cover but there were no girls there to see. Apparently they all went back to mainland to visit family and bring some friends back to work there with them.

I went to chichis once cuz hell, I would rather spend the extra money on cover to watch girls dance half naked then pay some girl to talk to. I wasnt impressed at all. Ive only been to one other strip club (if you dont include the bars in Thailand...all of which are kinda strip clubs), but this one sucked. The girls would take like five mins between them to dance, they wouldnt leave you alone...always asking if I wanted a private dance, how many times do i have to say no? Some women were anorexic, a couple fat, best looking ones were serving drinks.

I wouldnt waste money or time even if it were free to go there again.

what is it that the waitresses are always hotter than the dancers. I had the same thing in Vegas at the strip clubs there.

I like to go to strip clubs with friends cause it's just fun sometimes. I watch but never waste money on the private dances cause then it becomes just flaunting type BS I hate.

I have been here quite a while and never had the urge to step into a strip club!
to me it is almost pointless,for the same amount i would probably spend if i did venture into one i can go to a club meet a girl or two and go to a motel or back to her place and get the ultimate LAP DANCE!:D

Well that didnt work out too well for me either...now I pay $1400 a month....that could pay for a lot of lap dances in a strip club!!

If you mean the waitresses at bars, they are more commonly referred to as either Japanhos or barhos, they dress very skanky.

but still those japahoes bar hoes are a lot better looking than the dancers. The best part is you don't have to pay for a private dance from them if you work the moves right. I'll leave with a phone number even if she a hoe, doesn't mean she can't have friends I can meet that aren't hoes.

My best time to a strip club was when we got invited to a birthday party at one of the strippers houses, you wanna talk about fun. For the most part that I can remember was the way these people are away from the club, some have degrees, some worked in high positions(good work kind), it was awesome. When they got drunk and I think they did some of the drugs behind a closed door then the party got really interesting. I'm surprised I remember that party, me and my buddies spent most of the night at the track so it's too things coexisting in my memory from that day. Sex and Drag Racing is like cryptonite to me, I can't have one without the other.
