i heard that wow people sit around and play for like 12hrs? i was just wondering if that is tru and if so, how do you deal with the inactivity? Not trying to be funny just curious

Wow...generalize much? I think the longest I've ever played was like 3 hours.

I don't play but I know the concept. Isn't it bottles, not pans? So you can close the lid. Helps with the smell:)

We used to piss in bottles in Iraq because it was so damn cold outside and the port-a-johns were not that close to the "barracks". I can't think of a worse smell than piss that's been fermenting for 7 months:barf:

Computer illiterates. Come on. The internet has been out for what, fifteen years now? I know people who are still BARELY able to surf the web or check their email...

Yes, you do get up and go to the bathroom and you do get up to make a sammich/wrap. It's not like that South Park episode (unless you are in a fight against Absolute Virtue).

When I was in Korea, I used to play for hours but now that I have my kids, I don't play as often or as long. I am lucky to log in sometime...

You know, I actually tried to buy FFXI the other day and couldn't. I couldn't even download the trial! It's all blocked unless you live in the states. I did end up getting the game and expansions from a torrent site, but the EU trial key won't work (US client I guess) and I can't figure out how to get a US trial key. They block Hotspotshield's IP too so it seems (unless it's a cookie or something from when I originally tried...I didn't try clearing my cookies).

Sometimes they sell it at the BX/PX. Maybe get one of them to order it for you. That's where I got mine.

I've had my share of time spent on computer games, but for some reason I just don't get wow... I've watched my neighbor play a few times and it seems so uninteresting to me.. as they say, to each his own.

When I'm not playing FFXI, or when I take a long break from FFXI, it's hard for me to put in serious hours whenever I come back. The fights take forever, and it's just a TON of level/quest grinding...

But then, after a few weeks, I find that I'm addicted again, blowing several hours every night.

I can't seem to do it lately, though. I did a few hours of level grinding last night and then decided to take a nap at 9pm. Ended up being a 10 hour nap... I'm either stressed, tired, bored, or something...
