I'm passing along a recipe I found on the net that I tweaked a bit but turn out great. Feel free to post anymore recipes you have have for homemade curry.

Turkey Curry
Ingredients:

* 2 tablespoons curry powder ( I used 1T Hot Madras Curry Powder and 1T Coco's Curry Spice. Turned out to be roughly a level 5 spiciness from Coco's if you want to gauge how much to use.)
* 4 tablespoons butter
* 3 cloves of chopped garlic
* 1 1/2 cups chopped onion
* 2 tablespoons flour
* 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
* 2 cups chicken broth
* 1 can (8 to 9 ounces) crushed pineapple, undrained
* 3 cups cooked diced turkey (I cooked up turkey breast strips ina bit of chicken broth, salt, pepper, and garlic)
* 2 tablespoons lemon juice
* hot cooked rice

Preparation:
In a large skillet, heat curry powder in butter, stirring, for 2 minutes. Stir in onions and garlic; continue cooking, stirring frequently, until onions are softened. Blend in flour and ginger; add chicken broth and pineapple. Heat to boiling; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes.

Stir in turkey. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes longer, or until heated through. Stir in lemon juice. Serve with hot cooked rice.

***Note: If it turns out too spicy, add some sour cream or yogurt to it

It sounds like better than CoCo's curry :)

Microwaved baby turds still in the diaper are better than CoCo's.

You are very welcome. Another note is to add the broth slowly to the onion/curry season roux.

~Warning~
Spice level will increase as it sits over night. It does make great left overs but woo... I think it's a better type of spiciness than Coco's.

Nice! I'll have to try this out. If our HHG ever shows up, I got a good recipe for Chicken Marsala in one of my files...

Sweet! Post it when you can. I'm all about collecting recipes, especially tried and true ones. :thumbup1:

I gave the turkey curry a try since we are staying away from red meat and I also used a butter substitute. (I Can't Believe It's Not Butter cooking sticks) I'm hesitant to give the fish curry recipe I have a try. I need to find green curry paste first though.

Although I don't particularly favor Thai curry, I like the one the wife makes. It's not like the super milky Thai style, but it has coconut milk in it (but no lemongrass either, although I do like that now). I'll have to get that and her Nan recipe and post them.
