A personal computer may be a desktop computer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Desktop_computer), a laptop computer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laptop_computer) or a tablet computer (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tablet_computer). The most common current operating systems (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operating_systems) for personal computers are Microsoft Windows (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microsoft_Windows), Mac OS X (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mac_OS_X) and Linux (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Linux), while the most common microprocessors are x86 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/X86)-compatible CPUs, ARM architecture (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ARM_architecture) CPUs and PowerPC (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PowerPC) CPUs.

Apple Macintosh is personal computers.

Isnt this a chatbox-level Question???

RB likes making threads so.........

RB hears people say "Do you have mac or a PC?".

RB thinks the terminology is erroneous.

just like GB and Gb, people use the terms interchangeably. even tho they are incorrect you know what they are talking about.
