Greetings....new here, looking for some info

Can you guys give me some info on a few clubs here in Okinawa? Not into the whole gate 2, young servicemember deal (I am looking for mature spots). Found some nice jazz clubs down in Naha, but I would like to get my dance on every now and then. Thanks in advanced for any info.

IMO it all depends on who you hang out with. You can go to a "young" spot, with the right people, and still have a good time.

There is an izakya I was at down in naha that was really nice. Not a jazz club, but a nice setting and great to get together with a group of friends. It was underneath an apartment complex and had a little fenced in zen garden in front of it. They had a fish tank in the center of the place and you could sit next to it, or in the room it surrounds, and pick your dinner! The only thing is....I can't remember the name!:cursing:

My favorite is Hinotama Hall near Naha Mainplace in Shintoshin. They mainly play dance music (bossa nova, deep house, house, hard house, trance, psy.trance, etc). Depending on the day, they pretty much cover the whole spectrum. Staff are probably the friendliest I've found anywhere on island. The drinks are just so-so, but they're cheap, and the mood is ALWAYS nice.
