Holy Shiznat! Get ready. With this, Google will have TOTALLLLL control over all your information :)
OS, EMAIL, Payments through Google Check-Out (which is rivaling the failing PayPal) and browser!
GOD! I wish I worked for this company. The information they receive from users is AMAZING! Their ad network is top of the line with targeting. Everything is so well wired to their infrastructure. I get dizzy just thinking how much information they gather in one minute let alone an hour, day, month, year.

Google the monetizing Gods!

So, is this going to be free, and will all my video games work on it out of the box? :p

you would think that they are trying to target current microsoft zombies and that current and future products would be compatible. however.....

Yup, I like google a lot, but they are kind of becoming the virtual Standard Oil huh?

I got that impression when they first came up with IGoogle. (which is still a nice feature) They appeared to be trying to create enough of a webportal that you could essentially do youre web browsing without ever actually leaving the google homepage.

Who knows really, but I'll stick with OSX. :) Don't have to play 20 questions every time I want to make changes, download something, or install something.:D

I was reading a mailing list with some info. I think they are trying to target the open source community and trying to get an army of programmers to help bring code to make XP only apps run in their enviroment. So yes, a XP clone, but free and googlish.

Yea, I'll stick to the greatest OS in the world. XP. But it will be fun once it is release to find sploits :)

Its name says it all Chrome, that only belongs on bikes,

On a computer screen, Chrome=Silver

I only accept Gold or platinum standard
