I was wondering if anyone has had the same issues I have had and how they have fixed it. I wanted to totally clean out my Zune and reload from fresh but I have some songs that will not delete off of my Zune. Why? I turned off and restarted the Zune as well. I am stumped.

hmmmm. wierd never came across this one. BTW, zune is soooo much better than Ipod. I just bought my GF a 120, with the laser etching and shit. I'm thinking I may have to get another one, just because I am jealous. (i'm on an 80G).

I may hold out for the HD, but that depends on what kind of memory it has. HD is supposed ot be flash based, so that would mean a lot less storage i bet.

Anybody here use marketplace?

I bought my son an i-pod last year, but I'm considering a Zune for myself.

my advice is it wait for the hd but if you really want one get the old 30gb and upgrade youre harddrive to 100...the what I did when my first one crapped the bed

Well, the "wipe" worked but I was a dumb **** and forgot to move the "special feature content" I bought with my Zune onto my comp. and yeah well... it's gone. :sigh:

Hey at least you don't have itunes. For some reason my itunes likes to forget where my library is stored whenever it updates itself:cursing:

Yeah, the HD looks super sweet, but again I am wondering what kind of storage we are talking. It does a ton of crazy stuff, but I heard it was supposed to battle with Ipod touch, and all that plus being flash, makes me think it will probablyget stuck with a measly 8 or 16G. I need soo muhc more than that.

As for the 30, I have no experience with it, but I heard it wasn;t that good? Have you tried the newer versions? They are pretty damn slick.

Funny thing, i guess when the original 30's first came out, they didnt go over well. Not at all. So here it happens they are being ridiculed as a big flop, and what color did the zune folks choose for the initial release models?

BROWN.

Yeah... I think we all know what kind of comments THAT brought out.

I like the 30's simply because they have the functionality of hte second gen with an equalizer........the new hd will be 32gb

BTW, any of you guys use the full set up? marketplace and social? I don't use social per se, but I am thinking of starting.

Anyways, want to post your online tags? It allows you to swap music suggestions with your friends and check out what they are listening to, etc. It sounded cheesy at first, but it actually has ended up being a good way to discover new music.

Im under GATESLION . (BTW, if you see a bunch of cheesy ass chick music in my lists, it isnt me. I let my GF use it too.)

If you are using marketplace check it out. Its basically the same as rhapsody, pay napster, etc. 15$ per month gets you unlimited access to almost every song they have on up to three computers and three mp3 devices. Downside, yeah thats 15 $ a month, thats shit adds up, Ive probably given them a few hundred bucks by now,

upside: still, i havent had to buy a cd or pay for any other music in years, i have any song i want, and I'm not "stealing" my music, (if that type of thing really bothers you).

32 huh? hmmm... i'd still liike to see more in the 60 to 80 range, but i think 32 might be enough to sell me. especially with all the other badassness they are claiming itso going to do.

(granted, shits never hits the market with all the features they speculated on) to hear CNET tell it, this mp3 is going to play music, video, podcast, surf the net, make phonecalls, cook dinner, send im's, run on hybrid fuel, clean your house, play video games, stop global warming, recharge itself, organize music, go wireless, take photos, get you a date with BK, store song information, and come with stylish premium earbuds.

Apparently this MP3 is the digital Barrack Obama.

I use marketplace occasionally and rarely do I wi-fi social. I think other people's music sucks most of the time.
