You will have to download to your PC and sync it with your iphone.



Advantages:

Cut, copy, and paste.

Landscape mode for typing in all apps: mail, notes,

Voice memo app.

Should load internet pages faster.

i have to set up another user account on my PC for my itunes though as i am tired of everything i DL on my itunes going to another itunes account and vice versa..

I sure wish they could have gotten their heads out of their asses with the G-1. I had the G-1 (google phone) when it first came out. The phone itself, the software, the interface, everything was super slick, only to find out that T-mobile has such spotty 3G coverage that you can't really use the cool features most of the time. Wish they could market the G-1 Here.

BTW, when it came out everybody made a big deal about it being ugly. I didn't get it at first. until i realized it was made by HTC. Check HTC's website. they make a bunch of the slickest looking phones out there, (they are behind the Diamond touch, snap and magic) and yet for the big highly touted google debut, they attach the software to one of the most boring/ugly phones in the line-up (HTC Dream) ughh. You can refresh all you want but that won't make the 3.0 update for your iPhone appear any faster. In fact, you might want to give your trigger finger a rest for a few hours -- Engadget bud, Richard Lai, noted in a tweet that Apple's Singapore site says that the iPhone OS 3.0 update will release on the 18th while Apple India says the 17th, the date announced by Apple -- the difference presumably accounting for the 2.5-hour timezone offset between the two countries. That would peg an OS 3.0 release anytime between 1700 and 1930 in London or between noon and 2:30pm in New York. But don't let a little knowledge ruin your obsessive behavior, where's the fun in that?:)

The only way you can bring that up while in Safari is if you're already viewing the page in landscape. If you're holding the phone upright and touch a 'text' field to bring up the keyboard, it will not switch to landscape if you simply turn the phone on its side.

Yes, good stuff, cut/copy/paste works really well, especially for web pages.

Took me awhile to get it installed. I had trouble with the activation server, it wasn't available for an hour or so. Then after the software was installed it told me to reinstall the SIM card and enter the pin for he SIM card. I didn't do that I just unplugged the iphone from my computer and restarted it.
