Easy Bacon Wrapped Shrimp
Grill / Oven Recipe
Purchase or Catch some big ol' Shrimps.
Get some Thin Cut Bacon (Turkey Bacon may be used for people with Pork Bacon allergies).
Clean and prepare Shrimp.
Cut bacon slices in half. Wrap bacon around shrimp.
Secure with wooden Skewers for Grill , you should put about 5 per skewer or toothpicks for oven. TIP: Soak wooden skewers & toothpicks in water for awhile so they wont burn as bad. For the Grill, you may use the metal skewers if you wish, but I would slide a toothpick in beside the skewer on each shrimp to secure it better.
Light Grill & drink a beer / Preheat oven to 450 degrees F (230 degrees C).
Cook on grill turning every couple of minutes for anout 5-7 minutes or until Shrimp are pink and tender and Bacon is somewhat crispy / Bake wrapped shrimp in preheated oven on rack for 10 to 15 minutes. The bacon should be crisp, and the shrimp pink and tender. The rack keeps the shrimp from sitting in the draining bacon fat, which may be saved to cook some eggs for breakfast later.
May be dipped in hot Cheese or Squirted with Lemon juice or any other way you like 'em.
Eat and enjoy.
