Anyone ever heard of this new site, Ning? Supposedly it's pretty popular. Sound's like they have a nice incorporation of Facebook, MySpace and Twitter type features.
DK, how far are we (JU) from being as good or better? To some I'm sure it is already but, anyways. I mean I spend tons more time on JU than any other site. Sad, I know, but true.
So, what if JU was like a world known site like Facebook etc. but it was just like JU, in fact you could get to JU from the main page on whatever the new site's called. Basically the main page would be like a Myspace/Facebook/Twitter "ish" mix but then you'd also be able to click on any country, then region, then end up in a forum just like JU, only it would cater to those with interests in whatever region.

The problem with JU is that there is only one web developer, and that one web developer is also the web sales staff, ad accounts staff, and owner drinking buddy. On top of that, JU isn't even his full-time job. So, the fact that we've even come this far makes me happy, hehe.
I have big dreams for JU. I just hope I can make them happen. I am considering outsourcing some of the development where possible. This year should be a good year for JU as we are moving away from PHP to ASP.NET to quicken development times.
Thanks for all you do here DK, really appreciated.
BTW, is the forum acting kooky now? I thoght i may have forgot to enter the code - 4 3 15 16 23 42

Indian mods and admin would be awesome. :w00t:Are you serious? No more bacon threads, no more anti curry posts, no more religion bashing, no more sex jokes, no more models prostitutes or strippers, and this smiley :88: is gone.
No, never outsource the things that make you unique...
Unless you are America. Then, the fact that you outsource everything is what makes you unique.
