GT, a tip form back int he day when I use to race 1/10th stock. With the motors (if they have bushings not bearings), use copper polish and smooth the bushings by rotating the shaft with a dyno rig or my hand. Afterwards you need to clean it with electrical spray and hit it with a slight bit of light oil. You can also use this in the comutator and brushes if you do not have a cutter to match it up. :first:

Is it 1/10 scale RC car? They are afternarket high speed and power motor
in these days. I'm always suprised their speed.
Mini 4wd has a lot of aftermarket motor. when you see their speed, you will be suprised. :w00t:

Yea I was suprised when I got some upgrades to my Losi XXT a when I was back in the states. For me I have always raced stock since I started since the field was level and it was not about who had the most money to push through and win. Of course it was always cool (when I started to get money) to throw in a 8 or 9 turn motor and let it rip. That was some serious speed and I blew a few speed controlers that way :D
