Before long you won't be able to say whitey, or honky either. Come to think of it...I doubt anyone says those anymore anyway! meh!

Very strange world we live in; the politically correct movement has gotten to the point where we cannot even UTTER a certain word. (I can understand not CALLING people that name) So I am glad to see comedians getting called on using that word. You can't have your cake and eat it too. If it's offensive, then don't try to make a living off using it! Sometimes reality is stranger than fiction.:-|

I wonder how much he actually said it. If that was all he was saying, I can understand the outrage. But if he only used it a view times, then I don't see what the big problem is.
Using racial slurs is wrong IMO, but the US is way to PC.

I just think it's funny that people get so stressed out or offended by a meer word. If you can't take it then you don't have to listen to it, if things keep at this rate comedy won't be funny anymore because somebody will be offended because "thier" type of people were made fun of.
I can see the N word being a little overused, but hey it's certain peoples way of using it that doesn't offend anyone. The only people who throw a fit about it are the ones who can't use the word for themselves.
I'm sure the word has been overplayed, it's good he got canned cause of using it. But hey how many people were mad that they paid money to see a show and ended up losing out just because 1 person didn't like it.
