Gov't warns of iPod nano overheating
The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry reported Friday an additional case of an iPod nano overheating, calling for attention from users of the portable music players. The case, which occurred last month in Tokyo, is the 18th similar incident in Japan involving the product by Apple Inc of the United States, the ministry said.
In the latest case, sparks flew off while an iPod nano was being recharged. Part of the music player’s button was damaged but no one was injured. The ministry said it seems that some overheating of the product itself caused the incident. The iPod nano in question is the model MA004J/A, the ministry said.http://www.japantoday.com/category/technology/view/govt-warns-of-ipod-nano-overheating
