Tooooooo funny! I love this guy. I'd like to see the phrase "shouganai" (It can't be helped) banned entirely from the Japanese language.

Phrases like that are the reason I really hate watching Japanese tv, and especially the variety shows -- mindless driveling phrases that are set.
And if I hear "oishii" or "Umai" again,...
Want to hear a refreshing, "This tastes like crap."
Kawaiiiiiiiiiiiiiii <3
I hate Japanese TV.

Damn! How could I forget Kawaiiii (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kawaii#Perception_in_Japan).
On the other hand, the minority of Japanese, those skeptical of cuteness, consider it a sign of an infantile mentality.[10] In particular, Hiroto Murasawa, professor of beauty and culture at Osaka Shoin Women’s University asserts that cuteness is "a mentality that breeds non-assertion ... Individuals who choose to stand out get beaten down."[10]

I'm moving to that town! That is what I like to see. Make people take ownership of things, and responsibility for their actions. No escape clauses, or putting things off on others! 33 years old, and taking no shit! He may be in for a long career in politics. I wonder if I could convince him to move to the US, then later run for office?
You'd be better off adapting his mindset and running for office yourself!

The military should adopt that policy and so should the US government. Hell governments all over the globe should.:)
I'm going to adapt that ban, but I'm keeping "I don't feel like it right now" as my own fall-back plan. :D

It's not like he banned them from the whole language. He just told his staff they'd be fired if they used the phrases anywhere near him. :p
