Ok ok. I know music can have a positive influence on people but this particular genre has made some just plain retarded over here.
I was watching this Japanese variety show called Rinkan last night. On the show this Manzai no gaenin or manzai comedian guy named Tsuyoshi was about to spend 1 week in the rough and tough ghetto known as Nerima in Tokyo. :rolleyes: He spent this week with the local hip hop group called Nerimatha****a (actual name) This was a group of maybe 12 kids each with a ridiculous look and persona. The leader's name was D.O.(dangerous Original). Everytime time this guy opened his mouth I about pissed my pants in laughter. He basically tried to rap everything he said and ended every sentence with "Man" The rest of the crew was equally as idiotic as him.
The poor comedian was scared shitless the entire time he was with the group and had to learn how to rap. It was set to the theme of 8 mile almost. The best part was these hard core Japanese kids would throw out english or at least attemp to. And when they did is was something that would usually get bleeped out on American TV. But here in Japan they write it out in the subtitles below just in case you missed what was said.:)
Oh god the whole thing was funny but I thought it was kinda sad too. I don't get Japanese rappers at all. Who are they trying to kid.:rolleyes: Reminds me of that line from Rush Hour 3 "your asian, stop embarrassing yourself!"
