T-you, Indie.
Still just looking around and popping in my 2cents here and there. Looks fun. I should have joined a long time ago.
Dont think I have too much to say on each topic. Maybe I will increase with more time. For now, sentence here and there is enough.

No problem. Don't worry about it. I feel ya. The little free time I've had the past months is about to come to an end today! lol... I'll be around, but I doubt I'll be able to post as often as I'd like. Never know though I guess.

Yeah, there's a lot of cool things you can do on this forum. It's really well made. Much better than I could ever dream of building by myself. I <3 Vbulletin Forums.

Hi everyone! I am backkkkkk again.
Been trying to catch up on reading some of the conversations that have caught my attention. Perhaps I will comment on some of the longer discussions, but some of the topics look heated.

Is it ok to talk about old posts? I keep falling behind on topics and am busy so I think some old posts will be talked about by me. Is that ok? Or do I have to make the same topic as a new topic and start again?

Feel free to open up an old topic...no harm in doing that.

But I just read someone complaining about a topic being talked about after it was not talked about for a while. YOu say one thing and then that member kind of discourages people talking about older topics. I just asnered them in the whale thread.
I dont find that very welcoming.

They weren't talking about not posting in old threads. They were talking about a certain user posting in his own old thread after they had died to try and "bring them back to life".

Well what is diff or big deal if they have something else to say? My friends and I will often start up on a conversation a long time after it has passed if we remember it or got some new info or think something new about it?
I have read that whole thread now and I see he/she was bringing relevant stuff each time. Who cares why? Eveyone has their own reasons. I like that topic and hope that whoever would keep it alive.

Exactly...they were referring more towards one poster bringing up an old thread without adding anything new...just for the sake of keeping it current.
Feel free to post as you like.

Now what if one of your friends keeps coming back and brining up the same old topic? It would get dull and boring after a while now wouldn't it?

If it got that way then I woulod stop visiting them. So those who dont want to talk about it should stop visiting that thread. You see, that trying to stop the conversation is not good for me if I want to see it continue. Maybe I cannot debate as well as Muku or TP, but I enjoy it when watching two people who take a different view on a point go at it hard. It is like watching a fight. It is lively. But they should play by the rules. Discouraging them to even come into the ring I think does not make a good atmosphere for keeping the conversaton going. And from what I saw on that topic in teh makah whale Muku was not doing a very good job on his end.
I spent too much time posting today. I will be back soon. Sorry to bother everyone.
