As the saying goes, "April showers bring May flowers" so blossoms this idea.
Since this is my first stab at a contest type thing, FLOWERS is the theme this month. Creativity is probably a plus. Your fellow JU forumites will be voting; and as we all know, they're vicious. :D Please keep it as G-rated as creatively possible.
Submissions will be accepted through May 31, 2009.
Thank you for posting this, Socal. :)
I'll try to participate in this one!

It's a little early in my neck of the woods. The plants are just coming up after a long and cold winter. I'll see what I can do with the early bloomers.

The magnolia trees are blossoming here in MI so you should be able to get a few shots of those if they have started to come out near your in MN.

Photographs for this contest should be taken in this month of May. Aside from cropping and little things like that, please avoid submitting altered pictures. You can submit as many pictures as you want, but don't get stupid crazy about it please. :D
Ultimately you're on your honor. :)
There will be a small prize for the winner. :w00t:

Yeah, my house and the neighbors. I walked around for like 10 minutes sober, taking pics of flowers, and socal said I could only use 3. I should infarct her.
Sex Wax, those are the ugliest, most disgusting looking flowers I have seen my whole life. I am offended. In fact, I just vomited in my mouth. You ought to be ashamed of yourself for posting images like that on a family website. I am || close to dropping your moderator status.

I know, they are some wretched weeds. I was just trying to be nice, so there would be some pics here for the contest. I lost cool points just by even looking for flowers. I even took the pics sober, so I wouldn't air my belly while taking the pics and waste good beer. My bad. Won't happen again.

Because you attached the image. Upload your image to an image sharing site like http://www.imageshack.us/ and then take the direct link to the image and post it in the box that appears when you click the "Insert Image" button above the text box that you type in to post.

If you will consider GRASS (as in lawn) a winner, I believe that I have the winning photo. The color of my grass (17 May 09) is standard here in Southern Arizona - the 2 options are (1) watch your water bill go up or (2) wait for the Monsoon season in July.
