JU Anniversary Countdown

Hey JU members, give yourselves a big pat on the back because.........

May 31st marks the forum's second anniversary!

and we couldn't have made it this far without you!:first::thumbup:

We're hoping to kick the birthday month off right with some contests and get togethers. We're open to any suggestions ideas that could make this anniversary month one a great one. As far as contests are concerned and without getting too specific, some of the things we are looking to award will be the following.

*Most active users (post whores)
*Creator of the top reply generating thread
*User who can generate the most referrals
*Most threads created
*Most Thanked post
*Most Groaned post

....and many more.....

Seeing how April has been the ,most active month we've had on the forum in about 9 months, I thought a group goal, or two, might be a good idea for May.

Group Goal #1 Break the Mar '08 post count of 15,350

If we can surpass this, I will personally donate 10,000 yen for the next JU meet. Break 20,000 and I'll throw in another 10,000 yen!

Group Goal #2 Surpass 1500 total posts for one day

If we can make that mark I'll throw in another ichiman to the pot. Damn, that's 30,000 yen I have on the line:w00t:

This is just some pre-May-mayhem pep talk. Come this Friday (May 1st) its game on!:first:

I tried looking for it but I can't go back that far. It was one of the many Obama threads. If there is a way to go back further than 500 posts, let me know and I'll find it. I think it was right after the election if that helps.
