Anyone here used to play in a concert badn or orchestra that would like to start one up, or klnow of where us band geeks can play. Been really craving to play some music and was wondering if there was any place to do so.

If you just want to play, contact the music director at Ryukyu Middle School on Kadena, and ask if you can sit in. He occasionally allows musicians (that can actually play) sit in on his concerts and practices.

Finished being a smart ass, pm me, i have some contacts for community big band (mostly educators etc around oki). Most live houses will let u sit in if your into jazz. Long hair music is kinda slow here other than a touring orchestra from russia.
