Anyway, Just goes to show how messed up (socially) Japan is becoming. They are still thinking that each blood type determines the character you are.

My EX-wacko-girl was all about this...and it led to so many arguments...
"Oh, that's because I'm an 'A' type" she would say. Or.."You are unable to plan because you are 'O' type".

What she didn't realize, I was unable to plan because I couldn't give a rats sperm about her "plans" and was going to do what I wanted to do.

I've been asked a thousand times over the years I've been here what my blood type is. Occasionally being shot down immediately because it "didn't match" what they had.

Really.. Next time I get asked.. I'm going to say I have blood type "HIV".. and just watch the expression on the face of the questioner!!

This is nothing new. I actually saw this info. in the States in 2006 at a spa. Go figure... :rolleyes: It's actually an Indian (I think but I could be wrong) theory so she's possibly ripping off another persons "work/theories."

I got the same deal with my gf when I hung my clothes up at a hotel. "We are both A type that is why we get on well together!" I figured it was just because we had the same hunger for bumping uglies and bar hopping, but if she wants to chalk it up to blood type, that's on her I guess...

I don't know about that Spadesy... I got a transfusion from a black dude and my pecker grew two inches. Now I don't have to date women with small hands to feel good about myself anymore.:thumbup:

weird..I haven't thought about this topic for over a decade..even then I didn't put too much stock into the subject of blood types, but now the questions from back when are making (a little) sense now..
yes, girls would often ask my bloodtype as the first or second question..others would ask when they found out that i practiced karate. When i told my sensei that i was staying in Okinawa to continue training at his dojo, he replied: "o-gata ja nai ka?"
makes sense now..although i don't really see the reasoning in any of it, I understand how their beliefs and thought processes merge to evaluate a person based on blood type:ohmy:

I don't think they know wtf the + or - is here... rather than learn about the life-saving properties of blood, they're more into whether it'll match their shoes..

It's the same as when I worked as a hosuto, every night would inevitably be the same ol' conversations, including "Are you S-kei or M-kei?" Kinda takes the suprise out of it, like saying "Are you really good in bed, or terribly boring?"...

^ You're right, I just added the + in there as a force of habit.

I understand what you mean by the S and M thing...it isn't really in a sexual context, it's like "do you prefer to assert yourself on people or wait for people to assert themselves onto you?" I think most Japanese girls (or girls in general) like guys to be more "S", so they find a guy that will lead them around...not let the girl make all the decisions.
