Starting an electronica/hardcore band

Hey, just arrived on Okinawa in January, and I want to start or join a band. I play guitar and bass, and been making electronica music for the last 2 years. At my last base in england I had a 2 manned electronica hardcore project (remenant of a pop-punk I was in that split) where I would interface my laptop into the PA system and used fruityloops for drums/synths, then played guitar while my friend sang/screamed. It worked out nicely. Anyways I want to start a similar project here, hoping to have maybe a full band goin on but either way just want to have fun with music and play shows. I'm lookin for people into bands such as Sky Eats Airplane, Ghengistron, Enter Shikari, Horsetheband, Underoath, that sort of stuff. And if not I'd be down with any other sort of music, I listen to everything. I figure this might be a genre that would be enjoyed here. I have nothing set as of right now, still searching for musicians with similar taste and for the moment people to jam with. Thanks guys :thumbup1:

That sounds awesome. I hope it works out, and would love to see you play. But apparently, if you play on Gate 2, you will suck. If you play in another area, and no American Military hears you, you will rock.

Our drummer used to work sound at 7th Heaven so Im sure we'll be playing there.

Its not going now. The vocalist quit because I found out he's leaving in 3 months. Thats one of the big issues with starting a band over here is that everyone is constantly coming and going.
