(i know i'm always asking something, but the regulars here seem to have all my answers)
i bought a picture frame like 3 years ago, and broke the glass in it right after i got it, well we've moved so many times and it's just ended up in one of those boxes that just doesnt get unpacked, today i am going through those boxes, mostly because were going to try to stay in oki for 5 more years but thats not the point. i have this really nice picture frame, that has no glass. i'll even use the plexiglass/plastic stuff that you put in poster frames. it's sort of odd sized thats my problem, its big like 22x14in.
any ideas?
thanks!

Have you asked the custom framing shop if they have glass that will fit your frame? Or looked for a cheap frame the same size, and just removed the glass and put it in the old frame? It may be easier to just get another frame.

Doesn't Makeman or somesuch sell glass? Just make sure you measure the frame and leave 1/8" space on each side. Of course, you'll probably need metric measurements, but I'm certain you can get a piece of plate glass somewhere. Get a 4-dollar glass cutter, maybe you can pick up a new skill? Best of luck.

The custom shops on Foster or Kadena can do it for you. If you live near Courtney, I know a few glazers who could cut a piece for you too.

hey docp.. i have a bar with a glass top that broke on the way over here... its the smoked/frosty glass... when i get home i will post a pic to see if you know of anywhere that i could get it replaced.... I MISS MY BAR!!
PJ..there is a glass shop on 58 (ocean side of the road) between Kitamae Gate and the Futenma Town turn off...closer to the turn off- right at Isa-Hama.
I've done business with them for years and have had them do some pretty exotic projects for me.

Either go with what AH said or let me know. I can take the photos to my neighbor and see what he would charge to do it, then I could bring the bar to him for you.
