Thought I'd try and help other anime/toy nerds out. making a list of anime stores or toy shops.

ETWS - kinda like a wierd cross between a spensers, pier one, and a disney store. down the street from Jusco acrossed from the smoke shop.

Toys R' Us - two locations, one in awase near main place mall and one in Awase. Nice selection of toys, gunpla, and legos. Occasionly have amazing sales so keep an eye out, one time they had Revoltech(awesome action figures that are highly articulated) 2 for 2000 yen, I about peed my pants, snagged lazengann and gurren lagann and a few others that day.

Animation - small hidden Gem on Kokosai street. This store is hidden and unless your looking for it you would easily pass it, its down the road going southish and on the same side as starbucks, look for a small sign on the side of the building thats white with blue letters. this place has a ton of stuff, Revoltech, Figma, blind box stuff, CD's, stationary, book marks. this is about as close to a tru anime character shop that ive found. they also have Anime and manga but i cant read or speak it well enough so for now i'll stick with fan translations and subs. Oh they have a layaway type system but i havent tried it.

Small hobby shops - I've found a few. there a nice one right outside the old housing gate on foster across the street, i think it called ishikawa's, but im prolly wrong. I really dont like Franks, poor selection and it makes me sad for some reson. these are great for Gunpla and modeling supplies and the occasional neat find.

thats all I have for now, I have heard that there's a huge store on the southern tip of the island but I've never found it.

Post what you have and maybe we can get a really nice site going. or discuss some awesome toys.

Anime is too expensive in Japan and lack english subtitles, something most people need who are up to that level of profiency. I really dont bother buying it unless there is uncut material that is left out of the US version.

There is another ETWS in Naha close to the JUSCO. There are also the Manga Soukos one by Comprehensive park and one in Naha across from the ETWS.

I find the lack of paint on that disturbing.
