We are going to go see J.Chan and C.Tucker in Rush Hour III today.
We saw the first one but not the second one. It took me a while to get around Chris Tucker's high pitch whining voice which made me feel like he was trying to do a cheap knock off of ... forgot his name -- the guy the show Everyone Hates Chris" is based on.
But I am used to it now, and seeing him several times on talk shows plugging this new movie has caused me to want to check it out.
Hope it's good.
Oh, and today is Man's Day, so I get a discount at Mihama. Yay!

Chris Rock.
Where is Rush Hour 3 playing? The husband and I were just talking about the scene when he says to Jackie, "do you understand the words that are coming out of my mouth?" really loud and slow. That cracks us up. I want to see how many people do that to me when I move to Texas. :D
It's my birthday, do I get a discount too? ;)

Yeah, that preview scene looks funny.
Do you think Chris Tucker kinda came into the "business" by mimicing a little of Chris Rock's high voice whining style?

I couldn't say. I think Chris Rock is softer spoken.
I remember first seeing Tucker in The Fifth Element. Gawd, he was annoying, but funny. He's a done other movies, but I've only seen that and the Rush Hour movies. His voice is the kind that haunts in that irritating way, but he has good comedic timing. Whaddaya do? Shrug. Heh.

It wasn't a bad movie, but I thought the other two were better.
It's a shame tucker wanted so much money for the movie, otherwise it would have been out sooner.
That and jackie chan is getting old now so there isn't as much action.

Just came back from seeing it. Very disappointed. Wait for the video.
But it takes some interesting jabs at U.S. culture and the policy of war we seem to be using to try and get our way throughout the world.
