Five bucks (or a cup of starbucks coffee to the first person who proves me wrong) says this story will be on a tv documentary within a year. It's sadly funny how gullible these girls are. What in the world was the second one in the story thinking? "He seems like a nice guy. I'm sure I can trust him enough to give him $30,000."
This guy made off with close to $170,000 before he was busted. On Okinawa. That's just... wow!
He was 24 when he pretended to be a police chief for the first time. Come on now. Where is the logic?! I don't want to be so harsh and say "Some people are so naive they deserve what they get when they're duped out of this kind of money." Anyone know a nicer way to say that?
At least the dad in the story had some common sense. But then again, how did he raise his daughter to turn out so naive?
Tomohiro, calm as ever, told police “every lady believed me. If I say I’m a police chief, they gave me money so easily. Not one ever suspected me. Ladies are so simple.”
Come on now.

And that is why I chuckle to myself eveytime I hear the old worn out trite:
Okinawa hito yasashii, ne.
I prefer:
Okinawa hito damasareyasui, ne.
Hahaha yeah I like that. Kinda harsh, but I like it. Anything else to add? Hehehe. Humorous story. I'd love to chat about it more lol.

I never could understand how these con artists get away with such things or how their victims so easily fall prey to their charms. When I was young I tried to date more than one woman at a time I always got BUSTED. And this guy did it and GOT PAID FOR IT!
Seems a little unfair when you think about it. BUt then again, I am not in jail so getting busted with no pay may have worked out for me in the long run :D

well i'm assuming theses ladies had little to no self esteem and this guy was playing it really smooth and extremly nice. flattery and idk..flowers can get you far with a girl who hardly has a mind of her own. lol.. Then again, being a woman myself, who hates just about every woman around, i think its hella funny and I'm rooting for this guy. If they were dumb enough to do it. well he was just smart enough to try it.
Awesome reply Talindra. :D
But in the end, DADS RULE.

I find it amazing how someone could be so stupid. I feel kinda sorry for the girls, but then I think about it and I really don't.
Maybe now they will think twice before just giving some guy money. Oh and maybe they will choose a better guy next time.

YES!!!!
I was proud of that girl's father. Every dizbot girl needs an over-protective dad like that. :D
Not that I consider my girls dizbots, they have accused me of being over-protective. But then again, they sometimes admit that they are glad that I am. Makes me happy (hehehehhe)
Every girl should have an overly protective dad until she can prove that he doesn't need to be overly protective anymore.

Unfortunately to most over protective dads, a daughter could never really prove that, no matter how responsible she is. :D
I did let my oldest travel by herself to North Carolina a couple of weeks ago. The most difficult thing for me to do. Stayed with her at the airport for as long as I could and we called her almost every night afterwards. She is patient with me though and just assures me that I don't need to watch her 24-7 anymore. Good kid.
It's just with smoothe talking con artists like that who seem to know how to sway these girls, its hard not to be this way.

Bahh you know, My father was not over protective of me at all. Neither was my mother.
IE: when I was 13 years old I knew some people online from mIRC and decided to go meet them. But they lived about 6 hours away. so I found some silly way to make money, made arrangements, then on the day I had planned to leave I told them "Leaving for a week, going to quebec. gonna meet some friends" My dad only asked how I was gonna get there. My mother asked alot more questions and insisted to drive me to the bus station but other then that, they let me go meet total strangers. (looking back at it today, even tho it turned out just fine, it was a dumb thing to do lol.)
I turned out just fine. On the other hand one of my brother didn't but he was the one who was getting the most attention and protection from my parents.

You know what. This guy should not be in any trouble at all. I don't see a crime committed. Maybe impersonating an officer but in that case he wasn't obstructing justice or actually committing crimes.
He simply made chicks like him and give him money.
He should NOT be in any trouble for this.

Are "women" really that dumb?.....
Where can i find ten like those......
Yes, women really are that dumb and this island is full of them. Seriously, dress nice and go to a bar and just start talking to a japanese girl. Tell her you do high level classified government work and can't really talk about your job. You'll be surprised how far that will get you.
