And when the wall finally does come down, the people running across the borders are not always welcome. Like when East/West Germany reunited. The people from the East were not welcomed, the people pouring in from the West were. They had money, most of the people from the East didn't.

I would say that if the border between N/S Korea were to tumble, South Korea would be hard hit with refugees, depending on who has gained control over that unified country. But we don't hear a lot about people fleeing to N. Korea.

I think that the same thing applies to the Palestinians. They voted in a new Government, when they should have kept the old one. Happy people don't normally want to escape a place that they enjoy living at.

Not only do those pictures remind me of the Berlin wall but they seem to more closely resemble The Warsaw Ghetto wall and the partitions of the Krakow Ghetto. These aren't just walls to separte two states allied with or controlled by two separate idealistically different superpowers. These walls are meant to not only segregate one class of people, casting them aside from another, but to divide a group of citizens forcing them into a humiliating life similar to those in the Jewish ghettos under Nazi rule. The resemblance is uncanny.

oddly enough, much like the Warsaw ghetto walls, the present day Jewish settlements, their exclusive highways and the walls that border them are built by the very people the walls are meant to keep out.

Since the occupation many and many palestinians make the drawing is their way to resist the injustice, many of them murdered by the occupier ....

These paintings were done by a British artist named Banksy. His paintings are awesome, you should check them out. But they weren't done by someone whose country was being occupied. So no one was passing the pain... but someone was making some awesome and controversial art in a controversial place. Just get the facts straight next time.
