Just out and about at Mihama this weekend with my trusty camera phone. Here
are the T shirt winners from just this past weekend! You cannot even make
this stuff up! Funny thing is all these were from only 2 stores.
Man I love this place!

The "T's" read like the laundry list we use to get. Just a bunch of words that don't mean anything.

Somebody should make and sell Japanese t-shirts with just random kanji all over the front. I'd love one for myself to sport out in town.

Hell you see all those people with random kanji tattoos right? IMO that's the equivalent of the goofy english shirts. To a native speaker having the kanji for "power" or "water" or whatever is retarded.

Totally different and irrelevant. For the most part, these tattoos are kept somewhat hidden. These t-shirts on the other hand are basically flaunted. It's not like every dumb gaijin gets "Power" tattooed on their forehead. And what is retarded? Having a Japanese word on your body when you're not Japanese? How is that any more retarded than this? Hypocrisy, IMO. These kanji tattoos are no different than when tribal tattoos were the cool thing.

No, they're just as retarded. I've seen plenty of people with kanji tattoos up and down their arms and plenty visible. It's retarded because would you get the word "power" or "spirit" tattooed on your arm? So why would you get it in a different language?

Who isn't judgmental? It's just my opinion really no one has to take it to heart. I just happen to think that knaji tattoos are just as ridiculous as the random english t-shirts that japanese people wear.
