Which forum skin do you like better!

We need your help. A few months ago we held a public vote on this forum to help us choose our skin for this forum. By a close vote, Hexcell won. Mainly because two of us moderators/administrators liked Hexcell better at the time, and it was a weighted vote, which pushed Hexcell over the edge. Well, the two of us eventually saw the light and realized we liked and used Ogenzen more often, and we wondered why we even voted on Hexcell to begin with.

If we had voted differently, these forums would be looking differently today. Maybe worse. Maybe better. That's up for you to decide.

At this time, we would like to have a re-vote on which forum skin you feel is the best one for these forums. Here's what you need to do.

Open a new forum window (ctrl+n is shortcut for new window)
Scroll down the the very bottom. On the right side (left if you are using Ogenzen), there is a dropdown menu with 4 of our skins available as selections: Ogenzen Fixed, Ogenzen Fluid, Hexcell Fixed, and Hexcell Fluid. Try each of these out.
Vote in here and tell us which one you like the best.The winning skin will become the forum default. Again, this will be a weighted vote, but by now we have a pretty large member base, so that'll hardly member. Administrator (me) vote will be worth 3 points, Moderator (TP & DoctorP) votes will be worth 2 points, and everyone else's votes will be worth 1 point.

Please, please, please, please vote. And please tell your friends who are on these forums to vote. The more people who vote, the better this will be for everyone.

I personally dont like the black and orange color scheme used in the Ogenzen Fluid/Fixed. It's too bright too me.:-|

This is just a vote for the default skin. You will always be able to choose your own skin based on your preferences.

How about yellow text on white background? I hear that's a pretty revolutionary new color scheme that's taking the world by storm. Or purple on black?

Like I said, everyone will have the option to keep their skins as they like them.

This is more about providing the best forum skin/theme for our visitors, new signups, and people who just don't realize they can even change their skins.

To allow guests to vote, I'd have to allow guests to post, and I don't want to do that. I don't even know if it's possible, but it's not something I want to do. This vote is for the members. If you can't take the time to register, you don't get a voice on this website.

Why sticky this when it's the only topic in this category? You mean make an announcement forum-wide? If so, I probably will soon. I figured this is high enough up on the page most people would have the same chance of seeing it as if I had stickied it. Fluid goes all the way across the browser.

Fixed only goes across a set width.

I use hexcell fluid! I like the other one better but I can't seem to find the "new posts" button on that one! I LOVE the new posts button.

Try the "Live Feed" on the quick menu on all the skins. That's much better than the "New Posts" as it shows new posts as they pop up in real-time.

I was wondering if you guys could make more rooms to chat in for the chat room. you only have one room the lobby and no rooms for different topics. say like music or relationships married, single etc. fashion I don't know there's so many people out there with different interests. And nobody seems to go to the chat rooms it's like there people online but they only state how they feel in forums and maybe play games or listen to the radio/TV

You can create your own chat room when you go in. You should go in and play around with the controls a bit.
