A blend of herbs that are legal and closely replicate the big MJ! Based on what I heard. I don’t smoke no more or care for that high anymore with the kids and all…

Why lie, I do wish for it but I can live without it :)

I've never tried it. Friends have, and the buzz is described as too intense for my liking. If pretty much obliterates the brain, and doesn't enhance anything like I heard weed did.

FWIW: You may be legally allowed to purchase spice on this island, but like cannabis and prositutes in the netherlands (which is legal), it is a violation of the UCMJ for all military members- and they do test for it now.

:-| Spice

2-CI, aka 2,5-dimethoxy-4-iodophenethylamine, a short acting synthetic psychedellic compound. Can be taken orally or snorted.

Often confused with mescaline, therefore it is sometimes refered to as "synthetic mescaline".

:clear19::clear19::clear19::rolleyes:

The new stuff......I do not know.

a commonly traded and smuggled drug in the star wars universe...

Han Solo had a bounty put on his head by Jabba the Hutt for dumping his load at the first sign of an Imperial Ship....

Cause hey... Even Han Solo gets boarded sometimes...

:scratchchin: Damn and I always figured that spice came from Dune too (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_(film)) and made a person look like this and give them supernatural powers like Paul Atreides and make them act like Feyd Rautha.

Damn that's not right, it just enhances what they already had.:smile4:
Oh and it turns your eye's florescent blue as well.:dead:

Then there is the Dune Cat hooked on Spice.......

Google Spice, Germany company tested some and found chemicals like fertilizer.. my son has hallucinations on it. I have Multile Sclerosis so my sons are predisposed to getting it. Many diseases require and environmental factor to make the disease active. People do not realize what they put into their bodies have a profound impact on your future. I tried it. It's not worth the money. You get a bit disoriented for a couple hours (way too long) and you feel like total crap the next day. I'd rather soak my Mild Sevens in tequilla.

If your SOFA it's definately not worth even thinking about. If you want to get high that bad, quit your job and move to Amsterdam.

Spice is legal in Japan. Save your money and stick with the hops and barly mugicha.

US Forces Japan though prohibits the use of it by SOFA personel though. If your SOFA do your self a favor and don't touch it. It's only going to get you in trouble with USMJ or administrative action for dependants and civilians.

If you really want spice all you got to do is order online. They will ship it to Japan. It is not illegal in Japan, but the Military might have something to say about it.

Well if they ever do legalize it or even decriminalize it here (weed that is) I promise to throw a party that none will soon forget. Your all invited if and when the day comes.

Until then I will stick to tequilla and dream of better days to come.

spice, spike 99, and other similar "legal highs" that contain jwh-018, though still legal in the u.s., are prohibited for use or possession for military members. jwh-018 is a synthetic cannabinoid and the effects are said to be extremely similar to that of weed.

i have never smoked or consumed any of these products but when i first heard about a possible loop hole in the system and the potential that i could get high, i started doing research. details are still sketchy as far as the military's stance on some of these specific items (spice is prohibited but i could find nothing on spike 99) and i couldn't find a definitive answer on whether or not any standard drug test identifies jwh-018 (and trust me-i searched for HOURS) but the bottom line is this, the air force doesn't like people getting high (other than alcohol, caffeine, nicotine, prescribed drugs...)-regardless of how you might try to justify the harmlessness of the said substance. and yes, there is a catch all rule so your best bet is to just wait until you get out to start your cheech and chong endeavors.

Love how the MILITARY can make legal things ILLEGAL....AAFES would have their ass if they tried to make ALCOHOL illegal ...LMAO...there are so many things that you can LEGALLY buy from AAFES to get high on....but as soon as someone finds out they try to shut it down...there will be new developments in the quest for getting high especially when some people have nothing but time on their hands...http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/e/e3/Spice_drug.jpg/800px-Spice_drug.jpg (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/e/e3/Spice_drug.jpg)

Everyone should be locked in there quarters and only be allowed out for training and killing. No exceptions!

Cough medicine is kept behind the counter at the kadena BX (or is used to be). Hell, there is a law in indiana that you can only buy a certain amount of pseudoephedrine in a 60 day period otherwise you can go to jail:scared:

That's total bullshit! Not the validity of your post but the stupid overthe top rules. I can think of at least 100 other products that will mess with your mind if abused or used impropperly. I really wish the government and special interest groups would stop trying to protect us from ourselves.

i'm all for the legalization of marijuana for both medicinal and recreational use but i can understand why the military doesn't want their members to use any mind altering substances. with that said, i DON'T understand why they still allow us to consume alcohol, use tobacco, and prescribe us highly addictive opiates and barbiturates.

don't get me wrong now-i drink, i smoked for 15 years, and i LOVED the percocets that i was prescribed when i broke my hand...but the justification presented for our prohibition from marijuana use is directly (and to more of an extremity) contradicted in the allowance of use of all the mind altering substances deemed "ok" by the military.

i can't speak for everyone else, but i would certainly prefer getting stoned verse being drunk. no hang over, no getting sick, etc. eh-same old argument...bla, bla, bla.

I think spice maybe that Salvia Divinorum...mint family...pretty trippy stuff they say. They did an article in Air force Times about it, seen here (http://www.airforcetimes.com/news/2004/02/af.salviaeditorial.020204/).

MaryAnn
12-08-2009, 06:00 PM
salvia and spice are not the same thing (though they do appear in the AFN PSA together).

salvia is in the sage family and contains a naturally occurring substance that binds to kappa opioid receptors, the only known substance that does this specifically.

spice is a mix of herbs with a synthetic cannabinoid added. it acts through a different receptor, and presumably gives a different high.

The question is...what is spice?

Well, hm, I don't know...

It's kind of like...

Gonna find my baby, gonna hold her tight
Gonna grab some afternoon delight.
My motto's always been; when it's right, it's right.
Why wait until the middle of a cold dark night.
When everything's a little clearer in the light of day.
And you know the night is always gonna be there any way.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Thinkin' of you's workin' up my appetite
Looking forward to a little afternoon delight.
Rubbin' sticks and stones together makes the sparks ingite
And the thought of rubbin' you is getting so exciting.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Started out this morning feeling so polite
I always though a fish could not be caught who wouldn't bite
But you've got some bait a waitin' and I think I might try nibbling
A little afternoon delight.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Please be waiting for me baby when I come around.
We could make a lot of lovin' 'for the sun goes down.

Sky rockets in flight. Afternoon delight. Afternoon delight.

Repeat chorus

Change,

Looks like on 24 November there was a change in the law - Japanese are allowed to have spice, but they can't distribute it.

And the saga continues...

Kind of like it's not against the law to smoke weed. It's only against the law to possess, cultivate or distribute.

You pop on a whiz quiz for any other drug in Japan you will get charged and get burned. You can not be charged for popping pos on piss test for weed. Strange but true...
