Okinawa Police surveys massage parlorsDate Posted: 2001-05-10 On last February at the so-called Yoshiwara red light district, owners of a parlor were arrested for employing a junior high school girl in their shop as a prostitute. The police conducted the survey in order to clarify the situation in the area and to prevent such incidents. About twenty police officers surveyed 76 shops for two hours and checked the names of the employees, and to ensure that the shops have proper permissions and display a written notice of prohibiting underage persons to come in. |
