Japan’s newest airline touches down in NahaDate Posted: 2012-07-13 The inaugural flight Monday to Naha signaled the start to daily flights this week. From July 23rd, the fledgling airline will add a second daily flight to Okinawa. “The destination, Okinawa, is very attractive and we have high hopes for this route” says a company spokeswoman. She says “there is enough scope for extension of airlines more and more to Okinawa.” Tickets are 30 % ~ 50% cheaper than from other airlines flying the same route. JetStar Japan says that it shows results for digging up more tourists to visit Okinawa from Asia, the Pacific Ocean area and more by linking the airline with Narita Airport to connect with the international air routes. On the first flights from Narita Airport and back from Naha Airport almost all 180 seats were full both ways. |
