Freestyle dance contest entries being acceptedDate Posted: 2011-04-07    Freestyle dance is an art where dancers reveal their strength as they entertain themselves while the audience gets involved in watching the rants in 4/4 time, and Saturday’s competition sponsored by Marine Corps Community Services is an opportunity for teams from across Okinawa to strut their stuff as they compete for more than $1,000 in cash and prizes. The 2-on-2 Freestyle Dance Battle is a free event open to anyone over age 18, and participation applications are now being accepted. The Freestyle Dance Battle takes place at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma’s Thirsty’s Club.
