Azul Mar reopens with original Body Balance massageDate Posted: 2009-09-10  Azul Mar is now open in Mihama, on the second floor of the white Plaza F building across from the 7-Plex movie theater. Azul Mar had taken a hiatus several years ago while therapist Sachie took additional massage therapy training in the United States. Sachie, together body balance specialist Hiromi, operate the new Azul Mar. Relaxation is a key to Azul Mar’s massage therapy and Body Balance, with hand massage increasing blood circulation as muscles are limbered. Sachie says the therapy enhances immune functions and increases the digestive functions. Azul Mar, which means ‘Blue Sea’ in Spanish, although technically it should be Mar Azul, was chosen as the massage salon’s name because of its connotations of tranquility, relaxation and peaceful moments, all of which Sachie says are essential elements of therapeutic massage. Azul Mar’s grand opening is complete with specials. A 10-minute Quick Massage is only ¥500, while a 15-minute Foot Reflexology treatment is ¥1,500. The half-hour Foot Reflexology special is ¥2,000. Azul Mar is open daily 11 a.m. ~ 10 p.m., by appointment only. Appointments can be made at 080-1791-1303.
