Wife, child abuse sends Naha man off to jailDate Posted: 2009-09-10 Police say Shinichi Uehara was drunk when he got into an argument with his wife Sunday after returning home about 1 a.m. from a drinking visit with a friend. Uehara turned the disagreement into a fight, beating his wife, and then his young daughter being held by his wife. Authorities say the child suffered head injuries and was knocked unconscious, while the wife suffered minor injuries. |
