Yogurtland opens first Asian shop in OkinawaDate Posted: 2009-07-16 ![]() ![]() Fittingly opened on July 4th, America’s Independence Day, U.S.-based Yogurtland chose Okinawa for its first venture into the Asia region. Yogurtland is serving flavorful, natural frozen yogurt, a product that’s low in calories and sugar. Yogurtland’s unique self-serve system is renowned at its 60 stateside branches. Customers fill their cups with as many flavors of yogurt as desired, then loaded with a wide variety of toppings. The product’s sold by weight, ¥210 per 100 grams. The company, established in 2004, is operating Yogurtland in Chatan at Mihama Carnival Park, just under the landmark ferris wheel. Yogurtland is open daily 11 a.m. ~ 11 p.m. |
