Naval Hospital to curtail some services tomorrow

The U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa and its branch clinics will be operating with reduced services tomorrow as ceremonies are held to welcome a new commander.

Captain Brian S. Dawson will relinquish his command to Captain Terry J. Moulton, at the Foster Theater at 9 a.m. tomorrow. Dawson’s heading to the U.S. Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery in Washington D.C. Moulton is coming to Okinawa from Millington, Tennessee, where he served as Naval Personnel Command’s Branch Head for the Medical Department Officer Distribution Branch.



Administrative areas and walk-in services such as Outpatient Records, Birth Registrations, Billing Office and immunization clinics will be closed. Emergency care will still be available in the Emergency Department. Clinical and surgical appointments previously scheduled will stay as scheduled.
