Pro wrestling to debut at upcoming festival

The Earth & Life Charity Festival is taking on a new dimension May 30th as it brings professional wrestling into the entertainment mix.

Shisa King, Habu Man, Goya Mask and Golden Pine are only a few of the names becoming household words as members of Okinawa Pro Wrestling established last year, and they’ll be looking for more wrestling converts at the Earth & Life Charity Festival at Koza Music Town Otoichiba, located at Goya Intersection in Okinawa City.
Adorned in colorful costumes, Okinawa Pro Wrestling squad members will take on Michinoku Pro Wrestling from Miyagi Prefecture. It’s been five years since the mainland Japan wrestling organization performed on Okinawa.

Tickets are on sale at Okinawa Market for the May 30th battles. Ringside seats are ¥5,000 in advance, ¥5,500 at the door. Reserved seats are ¥4,000 in advance, ¥4,500 at the door. Unreserved seats are ¥3,000 in advance, ¥3,500 at the door. Unreserved seats for elementary and junior high students are ¥1,500 in advance, ¥2,000 at the door. Standing entrance tickets are ¥1,500 in advance and ¥2,000 at the door.
Doors open at 5 p.m. May 30th, with wrestling to get underway at 7 p.m. The event is expected to last about three hours.
