Woman robbed at knifepoint in bowling center

Two young girls threatened and robbed a housewife at knifepoint in the women’s toilet in a bowling center in Ikehara, Okinawa City, Sunday. According to police, the woman was about to exit the restroom when two young girls confronted her and pushed her back into the toilet. They locked the door and demanded money. One of the girls held what was like a kitchen knife against the woman. Another girl hit her hard on the face. Frightened she handed over her purse. One of the assailants then took ¥7,000 from the purse, and they ran away.

Investigators say that both girls appeared to be very young, possibly under 18. Both were about 160 cm tall, had their hair colored brown, and wore very short skirts and white blouses. The victim described them as high school students.The investigation is continuing, but the robbers have not bee apprehended yet.
