U.S. Naval Hospital debuts first 2009 baby at 4:32 a.m.

Kaira Renee Andrews claimed the honors as first baby born in 2009 at U.S. Naval Hospital Okinawa.
The healthy 9 pound 7.3 ounce baby girl, daughter of Staff Sergant Daniel and Staci Andrews, measured 21 inches in length. She was born at 4:32 a.m. January 1st, the third child of the family.
Kaira’s mother, Staci Andrews, is a native of Sioux Falls, south Dakota. Her dad, an Air Force staff sergeant assigned to the 353rd Maintenance Squadron at Kadena Air Base, is from Sugartown, Louisiana. Baby Kaira joins brothers Quinn, 9, and Corbin, 5, in the Andrews household.
