Sports shops celebrate anniversaries with TORICODate Posted: 2008-12-19   Ride Hot has been serving Okinawa’s BMX enthusiasts for 10 years, while XOSYSTEM, has done likewise for six years. The two sports shops are co-sponsoring the event at Salt & Pepper in Mihama, starting at 8 p.m. Friday. BMX products are featured at both shops. Headlining TORICO are the hottest bands on the island who appreciate BMX, Joguku Guruma and Thorn of Truth. Deejays The Scorchers, Caribsoul, and DJ Shinigami will be spinning the tunes between band sets, while VJ Tom pumps out the videos. Tickets for TORICO are ¥2,000 in advance, or ¥2,500 at the door.
