Young teens assault police officers questioning themDate Posted: 2008-05-24 Police patrolling a neighborhood spotted the 14-year-old girl, a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy loitering in the parking area of a private residence. When they asked “What are you doing here? This is a private parking area, so please leave,” the three teens and a group of 20 friends quickly surrounded the officers. The officers radioed for assistance, and additional officers responded to the neighborhood. The teenagers began fighting with police, grabbing their jackets and trying to hit them. One girl threw stones at the policeman. Police arrested the three, asking “Why did you do it?” None of the teens has answered to police questions. |
