Fenced Kitamae Dai-ni Park ideal for toddlers

Date Posted: 2008-05-24

Kitamae Dai-ni Park isn’t particularly big, but is a lush green with grass, shrubs and trees to set the stage for relaxation.

For toddlers and small children, it’s ideal. Featuring swings, slides and a sandbox, the park is perfect for parents to let the kids run free. That’s because Kitamae Dai-ni Park is fenced in, sitting in a quiet neighborhood between Highway 58 and Araha Beach.

The park has paths for walking, and playground equipment is well maintained. There are no restrooms at the park, but are available at nearby San-A Supermarket. For many moms, the park’s location makes it convenient to combine an outing with the kids and a shopping trip.

To visit Kitamae Dai-ni Park, exit the Camp Foster Commissary Gate and turn right. Stay on Highway 58 past the Lawson’s, then turn left. Continue on the smaller road until reaching the traffic light, then make a right turn and go to the end of the street. Turn right at the end of the street, then continue to the next intersection and make a left turn. Continue straight to the park. There is no parking inside the park. An alternative to parking on the street is to park at San-A Supermarket and walk to the park.
