Kangaroo babies show off during Golden Week

Itís official. Four kangaroo babies born at Okinawa Childrenís Park Zoo will be bouncing around in front of visitors during the Golden Week holidays.

Four kangaroo babies were born, and three have made their public debut, standing on two hind legs and eating. Zoo officials say the newborn kangaroos are looking at visitors too, trying to figure out what they are. The fourth baby, born last October, is still in the motherís pouch.

The zoo has 12 kangaroos in residence, and all are available for guests to see during visits. Officials say there are also plenty of other cute animals waiting for everyone to check out during the holiday season.
